A Leeds man's charged with trying to import £17 MILLION of cannabis

The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit arrested the 44 year old yesterday

A man from Mickletown Methley in Leeds has been charged with conspiracy to import over 200 kilos of cannabis.

Police say it has an estimated street value of 17 million pounds and came from the US.

The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit arrested James Montgomery yesterday in the Allerton Bywater area. The 44 year old is due to appear at Leeds Magistrates Court today.
