An investigation is underway after an 8-year-old boy was injured in a Bradford park.

Police say he was taken to hospital after being hit by a blue moped in Horton Park.

The boy was left with a serious head injury.

Officers say the rider left the scene.

A Police Spokesperson said:

"Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a collision in Bradford which left a young boy with a serious head injury.

"The eight-year-old was taken to hospital following a collision with a blue moped in Horton Park at about 7.15pm last Thursday (30 May).
