£5.8 million worth of drugs found in Dewsbury property

A man and a woman have been arrested and are in custody

5.8 million pounds of class A drugs have been seized by police from a property in Ravensthorpe in Dewsbury.

Officers attended a property at The Crescent on Thursday afternoon (10th November) and arrested a 22-year-old woman on suspicion of drugs offences.

Following a search of the premises they discovered the haul which is believed to be cocaine.

A 22-year-old male from Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury, was also arrested in connection with the incident. Both have been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and remanded into custody.
