1.5 MILLION Pancakes In Leeds

Published 17th Feb 2015

It might be Pancake Day today (Tue 17th Feb) but one flipping expert in Leeds says we've already missed the boat. Phil Sowden who runs <a class="article-body-link" href="http://www.crepescape.co.uk/ "Crepe Escape"">Crepe Escape in Trinity Kitchen - and so knows a thing or two about tossing - says we should've made our batter yesterday! He's spoken to Radio Aire's Joe Kenneford. One company's today estimated that we'll be using 380-thousand eggs and 19 TONNES of flour in Leeds to make 1.5 million pancakes in the city alone.
