Marvin Gaye 1964 Passport Discovered in LP By Motown Collector

A Motown aficionado has struck gold after discovering Marvin Gaye’s passport inside a second hand LP.
!The Detroit man appeared on the US version of Antiques Roadshow and told the presenter he paid no more than 50 cents for the record he bought from the family of a late Motown musician.
He said: “I was going through them and out of an album fell this passport. It literally fell into my hands.”
Popular culture expert Laura Woolley left the man flabbergasted when she told him the half-century-old passport is now worth a massive $20,000.
Laura said: “The thing I’m in love with is how young he is here. This is dated 1964, which is great, and it is after he was signed as a solo artist with Motown and added the ‘e’ to the end of his name.
"It’s not a really common thing to see Marvin Gaye memorabilia and passport collecting is a really vibrant world because there's usually only a few of them throughout your life."
After a releasing some of the greatest and most important records of all time – most notably 1971’s opus ‘What’s Going On?’ and the singles ‘Let’s Get It On’, ‘Sexual Healing’ and ‘I Heard It Through The Grapevine’ - Marvin Gaye was shot and killed by his father in 1984.
