Following the stellar and eagerly anticipated virtual showing of the world's leading live disco experience - Brutus Gold's Love Train – in Leeds on Friday gone, organisers have today revealed that they will release the epic two-hour display to reach the people of Yorkshire and beyond this Christmas.

Hosted at the stunning Carriageworks Theatre on what is normally the infamous 'Black Eye Friday' date in the calendar, households from across the globe tuned into the legendary disco event, which was played out to an empty but vibe filled room at the city centre venue.

Downloaders can now boogie the night away in the safety of their homes thanks to this new release, as Tier 3 and Tier 4 restrictions continue to blight the nation's Christmas and New Year's Eve plans, in what has been a traumatic year for both the general public and the entertainment industry.

Led by Puerto Rican Love God and guardian of masculinity, DJ ‘Brutus Gold’, along with his dance troupe and collective of 70s throwbacks (including Ana Glypta, Disco kid Alberto Balsam, Disco Dick and Camp David), saw Friday's show fully loaded with over-inflated egos, unparalleled dancing ability and an A-Z of disco classics.

It also featured the premiere of 'The Brutus Gold affair', a new Love Train dance troupe, featuring some of the best new female dancers the United Kingdom has to offer.

Speaking backstage after Friday's show, Brutus Gold said: “Geez, it was great to back in Leeds and on-stage with my disco cohorts! “Of course we wanted to be playing in front of a live audience but to have our fans streaming in their thousands from Leeds to Lima, Spain to Santiago, Newcastle to New York, and Australia to Italy, they were all there. It was something else!

“We wanted to create our own vibe and reach people all over the world and join hands digitally. And we did it!

"We had a few technical glitches at the start. I'm from an analogue era in a digital world!

But the love from our audience and the power of disco got us back on the Love Train track pretty quickly.

“I was proud of my dancers and my team who have helped make this show happen. We hope this virtual show will bring some laughter and joy to the world in these dark times. So, Dress UP, Get DOWN and PARTY with the whole family onboard the legendary LOVE TRAIN!”

NHS and key-workers can enjoy the download at half price. For more information about this email jon@jac-mediaonline.co.uk.

Looking ahead to next year Brutus added: “We're determined to get back on the road again and when it's safe to do so we'll be coming to a town near you. We can't wait to perform live again. We'll be at Millennium Square in Leeds once more on Saturday August 7th 2021 as the biggest open-air summer party and will look at other large-scale outdoor events.

We'll be concentrating mainly on large-scale live outdoor events and I have a huge all-encompassing Disco ball concept that we hope to launch in 2021.

“Merry Christmas everybody and remember. And remember, when real life isn't enough, Brutus Gold's Love Train will always be there.”

The Love Train ‘Virtual Disco Ball’ was recorded live at the Carriagework Theatre in Leeds in partnership with Leeds City Council.

This will be the perfect New Year’s Eve party which you can enjoy in the safety of your social bubble at home.
