After an explosive confrontation with Rhona Goskirk, Dawn flees the scene, but when she's intercepted by Reverend Harriet Finch, both of them are forced to confront their pasts. Daz Spencer can't seem to shake the guilt he feels following his drink drive run in and makes plans to leave the country, but Amelia Spencer is having none of it.

Jesse Grant has an unpleasant run in with Charity Dingle after Noah is expelled from school, and when Marlon Dingle tries to get involved she angrily tells him to butt out.

Despite the argument, both Jesse and Charity get some good news – as Billy Grant calls Jesse to give her his release date from prison, and Vanessa Woodfield finally agrees to move in to the Woolpack.

And now, let's recap on what's happening this week... Increasingly aware of Jacob Gallagher's feelings for her, Maya Stepney sits down with him and gently asks Jacob if he'd lied about Liv Flaherty to try and make her jealous. Of course, he had, and he admits the truth.

Flattered by his confession, and caught up in the moment, Maya kisses Jacob. It lasts only a few seconds before she pulls away, horrified by what she's initiated, and insists that nobody is ever to find out about the kiss.

The twins fall ill, and Brenda Walker is pleased to have an excuse to skip her date with Doug Potts. When Bob Hope offers to help out, it's clear that he is enjoying being back in the fold. The twins are hoping for reconciliation, and Brenda has to make clear that it isn't on the cards. Still, she's happy to spend time with Bob again, and when the two settle down for a glass of wine on the sofa, Bob leans in for a kiss...

A work meeting a the pub turns pretty boozy, pretty quickly for Daz Spencer. His new boss Trish invites him back to hers to sign some papers, and despite his reservations Daz feels he has no choice but to go. An awkward encounter in the cab leaves Daz stranded without his phone or wallet, and he's surprised when he sees his own car in a field.

Decided to risk it and drive home drunk, Daz get's distracted by a ringing phone in the back seat, and hits something with his car...

Emmerdale airs every weeknight at 7pm on ITV, with a second showing on Tuesday nights at 8pm.
