One year after she first appeared on EastEnders, former S Club singer Hannah Spearritt has been confirmed to RETURN to the soap. The actress, who took on the role of Karen Taylor's younger sister Kandice last year, and appeared for a short stint earlier this year, will reprise her role over the festive period.

The Christmas period is the perfect opportunity to get the family back together, with Kandice catching up with the Taylor family once again. However, as with last year, the reappearance of Kandice is likely to end in a chaos.

Before joining the soap in 2017, Hannah revealed how happy she was to be playing Kandice, "I’m over the moon to be joining the show, it’s such a huge part of British telly," she explained, "I’m really looking forward to getting started and I can’t wait to see the Square in the flesh. Walford here I come."

Now take a look at where the former members of S Club 7 after now:

Paul Cattermole then

Back in the late '90s/early '00s, Paul was the absolute heartthrob of the band. The combination of the piercings, that 'Reach' middle eight and those oh-so-trendy bucket hats he used to wear catapulted him into proper popstar crush territory.

The news that Hannah will be returning to EastEnders for a one-off episode comes just a few months after the former pop star announced she is expecting a baby! Hannah revealed the exciting news during a photoshoot explaining this pregnancy meant even more to her after she'd suffered two miscarriages previously.

In her interview, Hannah told OK! magazine, "I had one miscarriage a few years previously with another partner. They both happened early on in the pregnancies, around the five-week mark.

"It’s such an upsetting thing so it’s made it hard to relax this time, especially during the first few months. Going through all that makes this pregnancy even more special, though. I feel very lucky that everything has been okay this time."

Hannah and Adam's baby is due later this month.

If Hannah and Adam need some ideas for names they might some need inspiration from other celebrities:
