Coronation Street reveal who's behind the THIRD proposal this summer

Coronation Street bosses have been teasing viewers over the past month or so with the news that there will be not one, not two - but THREE marriage proposals made in Weatherfield this summer. They've told us that Daniel Osbourne will pop the question to Sinead Tinker and that Steve McDonald and Tracy Barlow will get engaged for the third time.

But they've also been teasing the fact that a third proposal is brewing among two of the residents - and now they've finally revealed who it'll be.

According to Metro.co.uk, David Platt will pop the question to his girlfriend, Shona Ramsey. Corrie viewers will be fully aware of the trauma David has been through recently, so it's no surprise that he would want to create some happy memories and have something positive to share with his family.

Shona has been David's rock over the past few months - after he was the victim of rape by the evil Josh Tucker, Shona was the one to find out about Josh's past and encouraged David to go to the police about what had happened.

However, the publication reports that Shona doesn't exactly jump for joy at the proposal - and that she could be thinking they need to spend some time together properly after everything that has happened recently.
