Poor Sophie Webster in Coronation Street hasn't exactly had an easy ride of it when it comes to relationships. Her first ever relationship with Sian didn't exactly turn out well after Sophie jilted her at the altar, Maddie was killed in an explosion and her love for Kate Connor ended up being unrequited as Kate began a secret relationship with Rana.
However - all that is set to change after a TV source revealed that Sophie is set to enjoy an affair... With an older woman!
According to a TV source, Sophie's mum Sally will become a victim of fraud after handing over council funds to a criminal, which could cause her to lose her role as the mayor.
As a result, she calls up an old lawyer friend for advice who then arrives in Weatherfield - but she soon loses sight of the case when she claps eyes on Sophie and they instantly fall for each other.
