Viewers watching Britain's Got More Talent on Wednesday evening were utterly outraged after witnessing guest star Big Narstie appear to push Robert White when approached. In the last few seconds of the show, there seemed to be a misunderstanding between the pair - which was caught on camera.

Robert, who has Asperger's, came towards Big Narstie and grabbed hold of his wrists so that they could dance together whilst guest performer Anne-Marie was singing.

Unfortunately, Big Narstie did not understand the gesture at first, and instinctively pushed Robert away from him.

But this did not go down well with viewers who jumped onto Twitter to defend Robert, who had just made it through to the final with his comedy act.

Did you know these TV shows were almost called something entirely different?

Paul Potts won the very first show in 2007 with his hugely impressive singing abilities.

However, many defended the musician, saying that if the situation had been slightly different, no-one would have been defending Robert.

Robert immediately took to Twitter to defend Big Narstie, whose real name is Tyrone Lindo, saying that they had effectively kissed and made up over the miscommunication.

He wrote, 'Big Narstie hi-fived, shook and then made up. No bad feelings from me. To me the visual joke was obvious; the tiny guy dancing with the big guy, but not everyone thinks in comedy, so I think you should give the benefit of the doubt #bgmt.'

Now, Big Narstie has graciously apologised to Robert on Twitter - but also used the platform to defend himself and giving his version of events.

He wrote that he was sorry if he came across 'aggressively' on the show, but added that he 'didn’t like my personal space being invaded in that manor just followed natural reaction.' sic

All's well that ends well!

The Britain's Got Talent semi-finals continue on ITV tonight at 7.30pm.
