Zara and Mike Tindall announce exciting baby news
Lovely news!
Last updated 6th Jan 2018
The Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike Tindall have announced they are expecting their second child together, a year after they suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage.
The happy couple announced their news via a spokeswoman who said, "I can confirm Zara is pregnant with her second child." A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace later added, "The Queen and the Royal Family were very pleased to hear the news."
The new arrival, which is expected in the summer, will be the couple's second child. They already share three-year-old daughter Mia who they welcomed after tying the knot back in 2011.
In December 2016 the couple announced Zara had suffered a miscarriage and tragically lost their baby just weeks after they announced the pregnancy.
The new arrival will be the second Royal baby of the year, as last year it was confirmed The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their third child together.
The statement, released by Kensington Palace, revealed how the 'Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news' as well as detailing how The Duchess was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (severe vomiting).
Not long after, it was revealed the new Royal baby is set to arrive into the world in April 2018. The tweet read, 'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018.'
Congratulations to Zara and Mike! 👶
