will.i.am has launched a Twitter tirade after he was allegedly kicked out of a first class airport lounge for having fake ID.

The multi-millionaire singer and super producer aimed his rant at America’s United Airlines claiming staff told him his membership card wasn’t valid.

“#unitedAIRLINES is the worse. Im a member & I have my card to prove it. but they tell me my card is fake & kick me out the lounge #ouch,” the star told his 12million followers.

Posting a photo of his ‘membership card’, will added: “Ha ha ha I got kick out the club...#unitedCLUBsucks.”

Making light of the situation, will then posted this hilarious Tweet:

However, his amusement soon turned to anger once again hours later when he wrote: “I get kicked out of the @united lounge because they say I'm not a member...oh well...& then the @united pilot asks me to take a selfie #WTF”

United Airlines have since released a statement, reading: "We invite only customers travelling in United Global First, customers with Global Services status travelling in United BusinessFirst, and customers travelling in first class on other Star Alliance carriers to visit our Global First Lounges.

"Since the customer did not meet these criteria he did not have access to the lounge. We are reaching out to the customer and appreciate his business."

will.i.am is currently a judge on the Australian version of The Voice alongside Kylie Minogue, Joel Madden and Ricky Martin.
