Tom Hardy talks Mad Max and answers James Bond rumours!

Tom Hardy has answered the constant speculation about him being the next James Bond.

Speaking to In:Demand Showbiz to celebrate the release of Mad Max: Fury Road next Thursday (14th May), Tom didn’t rule out playing 007 in the future.

“I think Daniel Craig is doing an amazing job as James Bond,” Tom told us. “That conversation (playing James Bond) will never happen until they’re ready to move into new pastures. I think every boy wants to play James Bond to a certain degree!”

The 37-year-old English actor also opened up about meeting the original Mad Max, Mel Gibson, to get his blessing ahead of taking on the role.

Tom explained: “I just wanted to touch base…. (and say) ‘is it alright that I get on with this now?’ He was totally fine with that so I made him a bracelet, we had a steak and I bored him senseless.”
