Tom Hardy's dog Woody steals the limelight at Legend premiere
He even chases away a pigeon
You would think that playing BOTH lead roles in crime thriller Legend would be enough for heartthrob Tom Hardy to be the star attraction at the London premiere.
However, at the blue carpet launch in London’s Leicester Square last night, it was Tom’s beloved Labrador cross Woody who truly took the limelight.
Tom, 37, who plays both Ronnie and Reggie Kray in the movie, was inseparable from Woody at the star-studded premiere.
Woody posed for selfies and photos with Tom, licked reporters’ microphones, strutted around the blue carpet like he completely owned it and even took time to chase away a pesky pigeon. Legend!
Born entertainer Woody had previously joined Tom at an August press screening of the eagerly anticipated movie.
Tom was also joined at the premiere by his pregnant wife Charlotte Riley plus co-stars Emily Browning, Christopher Eccleston, Tara Fitzgerald and David , Thewlis.
Directed by Brian Helgeland, Legend is based on John Pearson’s book The Profession of Violence: The Rise and Fall of the Kray Twins.
It follows their journey to being the most notorious and feared criminals in the UK and their ultimate downfall.
Legend hits cinemas in the UK next Wednesday (9th September) a month before its American release. Check out the trailer here:
