The Columbian songstress confirms her pregnancy
Shakira has confirmed that she and Gerard Pique are expecting their second baby together.
Reports have been circulating for weeks that the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer is pregnant after friend and fellow Columbian Carlos Vives made reference to it at an awards ceremony in Miami.
Now, in a fresh interview with the Mexican issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, Shakira has confirmed the great news by simply saying: “Yes! I’m pregnant!”
37-year-old Shakira and Barcelona player Gerard, 27, already have a son together - Milan Piqué Mebarak who was born in January 2013.
The couple began dating in 2010 and Shakira officially confirmed their relationship in March 2011 by posting a picture on Twitter along with the caption “I present to you my sunshine.”
