Lily Allen 'grateful to be alive' following caravan gas explosion
She warns campers of the dangers
Lily Allen says she feels “very grateful to be alive” following a gas explosion in her caravan.
The 30-year-old singer is already on the Glastonbury Festival site, ahead of the event kicking of on Wednesday, where the accident is thought to have occurred.
Lily posted pictures of her singed eyebrows on Instagram but assured her fans she is ok and will no doubt be primed to take part in the Glastonbury debauchery this weekend.
"I was in a gas explosion in my caravan today and I have minor burns and synged my eyelashes considerably,” Lily told her 663,000 Instagram followers.
“It was absolutely terrifying and I wouldn't want anyone to go through anything similar.”
Offering some health and safety advice, Lily continued: “Please be SO careful using gas stoves at anytime but especially during festival season when ones reaction times may be a little off.
“Feeling very grateful to be alive. Happy camping."
Lily is a seasoned Glastonbury goer having attended the Worthy Farm festival since childhood. She has also performed at the event several times.
