Many feared that love was indeed dead.
Last September Angelina Jolie announced she was calling it quits with her husband Brad Pitt.
While the world didn't stop turning, many were gobsmacked that the hero parents to Maddox, 16, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11 and nine-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, couldn't make it last.
Moving her entire clan into a new house, Angelina confessed it was “a big jump forward for us.”
The 42-year-old admitted to Vanity Fair, “We’re all trying our best to heal our family.”
And we're guessing time has healed quite a few of the wounds.
This week, an insider tells Us Weekly, “The divorce is off."
The mum-of-six is said to be second-guessing her choice.
“They haven’t done anything to move it forward in several months and no one thinks they are ever going to," the source claims.
Angelina wanting to pause proceedings is certainly a surprise, given the intense aftermath of their split.
A source from Angie's camp admitted that at the time, people from her inner circle were “running a smear campaign” against Brad Pitt.
But now that the dust has settled, it would appear the actress is, "still so in love with him."
For his part, Brad, 53, has done everything in his power to change his ways.
The actor confessed to GQ he was “boozing” so much that he “could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka."
He has since given up alcohol cold turkey, while openly discussing his own parental woes.
“I grew up with a father-knows-best/war mentality — the father is all-powerful, superstrong — instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles,” the Hollywood heavyweight mused.
“And it’s hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven’t been great at it."
