Eliza Bibby was discovered dead in her home last week

A 47-year-old woman who died in Wisbech has been named as Eliza Bibby.

Police were called by the ambulance service around 6.30am on Tuesday morning with reports that Eliza’s body had been found at her home in Beechwood Road.

A post-mortem examination on Friday afternoon (13 January) concluded she died of multiple stab wounds.

A 45-year-old man, of no fixed address, and a 42-year-old woman, from Wisbech, have been bailed on suspicion of murder, but remanded in custody in connection with unrelated allegations.

DI Lee Martin said: “Enquiries are still ongoing, it has now been a week since this tragic incident and I continue to ask, if there is anyone with any information please contact us today."
