West Norfolk's council boss says we all need to join in the fight together to see a new hospital built in Lynn.

There's calls to the government for funding of the QE, after it's been shown the site is far past its original 25-year life span, and parts have become unstable.

Lorraine Gore says we should all do what we can to support the hospital staff.

She says:

"The Queen Elizabeth Hospital is part of the local community and has a reach beyond West Norfolk.

"Many of us have either personally or had family members use the service at the hospital and have been extremely grateful that they've been there.

"We need to be there for the QE Hospital and our NHS colleagues in supporting them and lobbying for the funding for a new hospital in King's Lynn."
