It's understood the teenage victim of a stabbing in Ipswich earlier this week was originally from Norfolk.

The unnamed 18 year old man was attacked at around 3:35pm on Tuesday (January 17) in Westgate Street in the town centre.

He was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Numerous police units were sent to search the area for the suspects, including armed officers and a helicopter from the National Police Air Service.

Police are still looking for two male suspects involved in the assault who were seen leaving the scene.

Since then floral tributes have been left at the scene of the attack, which a mobile police station has been set up in the town centre as investigations continue.
