It's UEA's highest position since 2020
The University of East Anglia's secured its place as a top 25 UK university in the Complete University Guide (CUG) 2025 rankings.
It's risen from from 23rd to 21st - UEA's highest position since 2020.
The annual table assessed 130 universities in the UK, ranking them on ten individual measures, including: entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality and graduate prospects.
Vice-Chancellor Prof David Maguire said: “This is another successful outcome for UEA in a prestigious annual ranking table, and I’m naturally very pleased that our position as an outstanding UK university is confirmed.
“The Complete University Guide assesses the full package of the services higher educational institutions have to offer, from the variety and quality of our research to the educational experience we provide for our students, and more besides.
“This is a really important measurement of our progress as an organisation, and I’d like to thank everyone in the UEA community for their hard work and dedication in pushing us forward.”
CUG also publishes subject level tables across a number of different areas, and has rated UEA as the best in the UK for Counselling, Psychotherapy & Occupational Therapy.
