Police are carrying out an investigation after two men were found dead at the same house in Watton within a seven-day period.

Officers were called to a property on Changi Road, Watton, at 7.44pm on 20th October, after a man’s body was discovered. Ambulance crews attended and confirmed the man, who was in his 60s, was deceased at the scene. His death is being treated as unexplained, and a police cordon remains in place while enquiries continue.

Police confirmed that another man, aged in his 40s and not related to the second man, was found dead at the same address on Monday 13th October at 5.56am. He was also pronounced dead at the scene by ambulance staff. A post-mortem examination has taken place and toxicology results are awaited.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Stuart said: “We are in the early stages of the investigation and are exploring a number of lines of enquiry, including whether there is any link between the two deaths. We are keeping an open mind and working to fully establish the circumstances of both deaths.”

Investigations are ongoing as police work to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
