Two people seriously injured in separate crashes in King's Lynn

Police were called to both incidents yesterday

Two people have been seriously injured in separate crashes in King's Lynn yesterday.

The first happened yesterday morning at around 9:30am in the Tuesday Market Place car park near the Corn Exchange.

A white Vauxhall Astra was involved with a collision with a pedestrian.

A man in his 70s has been taken to Addrenbrooke's Hospital, where he remains with serious leg injuries.

Separately, at around 9:52am a silver Vauxhall Astra and white Royal Alloy GP 300 Vespa scooter were involved in a crash on Clenchwarton Road, near the Pullover Roundabout.

The scooter rider, in his 60s, suffered serious leg injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to either incident to get in touch on 101.
