Police have questioned two men after several boats were stolen or broken into in North Norfolk.

The pair, both in their 30s, were detained earlier this month after several incidents, including a boat theft in Stalham.

One was questioned on suspicion of three counts of theft, including the theft of a boat in Stalham between March 1 and May 31, assault, and failure to appear.

He has been bailed until September and banned from an area of the Norfolk Broads.

A second man was arrested on June 7 on suspicion of thefts from boats at Hoveton St Johns and Sutton Broad.

He has also been released on bail until September.
