Two men have been arrested as part of a Norfolk Police day of action to crackdown on dangerous driving around Thetford.
Officers also targeted organised crime and suspected modern slavery on Tuesday (April 25), which saw 37 different vehicles stopped and searched at a site in the town.
Two men, in their 20s and 40s, were arrested on suspicion of Class B drugs offences after cannabis growing equipment was found in the back of a van.
Police also dealt with several drivers not wearing seatbelts, driving while using a mobile phone or driving without insurance.
Several vehicles were seized and taken off the roads of Norfolk.
Sgt Adrian Hales of Norfolk Police's Joint Roads and Armed Policing unit said:
“Action days provide us with the ideal opportunity to not only reduce the number of road casualties we experience every day on our roads but to also disturb criminals who are choosing to operate via the road network in Norfolk.
“We saw an unusually high level of window tint offences which can be incredibly dangerous. Tinted windows reduce a driver’s visibility, especially at night and pose a risk to other road users and pedestrians who may not be easily seen by a driver.
"Insurance companies should be informed of this modification and it should always be tested to ensure they meet the legal limits.”
