A farmhouse near Mundesley is set to be demolished - after it was left dangerously close to the edge of a cliff due to coastal erosion.

North Norfolk District Council says they're in contact with the Trimingham property's owners and are offering them support.

The authority tells us it'll be demolished as soon as practically possible.

A spokesperson for North Norfolk District Council commented: “The Council became aware of cliff failure last Thursday when officers visited the site and met with the property owner to ensure their wellbeing and to discuss the next steps regarding their property.

"All parties have reached agreement that the building needs to be demolished and efforts are now underway to achieve this as soon as is practicably possible.

“The Council, through its Coastwise initiative, is providing assistance to the property owner to enable the demolition of the property and officers will continue to offer support throughout the demolition process.”
