The family of a man, who died after a collision on the A10 in Southery this month, has issued a tribute to him.

Gary Dunbavin, aged 40, died when the lorry he was driving left the road on Friday 17 October.

His family has asked for the following tribute to be issued:

“As a family, we are heartbroken at the loss of a son, brother, daddy, father, fiancé, uncle and grandad.

"Gary was a kind, loving and caring person who many would call a gentle giant and who could light up any room with his smile the moment he walked in.

"He took everything in his stride and wore his heart on his sleeve.

"As a family, we would like to thank all the emergency services who attended to Gary — your care and support mean so much to us.

"Gary will be remembered most for his humour and unforgettable one-liners. He’ll be forever in our hearts”.
