Three covid patients at QEH in King's Lynn

That's according to NHS England figures

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, Trust was caring for three coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday (20 April), figures show.

NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am was up from two on the same day the previous week.

There were six beds occupied by Covid-19 patients four weeks ago in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, NHS Foundation Trust.

Across England there were 1,649 people in hospital with Covid as of 20 April, with 273 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.

The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has decreased by 61% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has decreased by 58%.

The figures also show that four new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, NHS Foundation Trust in the week to 18 April. This was down from five in the previous seven days.
