Three covid-19 patients in QEH

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, Trust was caring for three coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show.

NHS England data shows no people were being treated in hospital for Covid-19 at 8am on June 8.

There were six beds occupied by Covid-19 patients four weeks ago in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, NHS Foundation Trust.

Across England there were 1,030 people in hospital with Covid as of June 15, with 187 of them in mechanical ventilation beds.

The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has increased by 38% in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has increased by 64%.

The figures also show that three new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn, NHS Foundation Trust in the week to June 13. This was up from two in the previous seven days.
