'The Big Help Out' gets underway in Norfolk

A campaign to show how volunteering can benefit our communities and those involved, is getting underway in Norfolk today.
'The Big Help Out' is the final part of the official coronation celebrations- and aims to bring people together and create a lasting legacy
"It's useful that people are aware of us and know what we do"
Kalvin Mcleod is chair of Norfolk and Suffolk 4x4 Response.
"We are a relatively small charity and very few people know about us. But we are one of the big players in the field and it's useful that people are aware of us and know what we do.
"In bad weather we might be taking one doctor from one hospital, to another and then another, so they can do their job. Another time we might be assisting an ambulance getting to the patient or safely recovering a police car from a beach"
