A teenager has been handed a fine after admitting to the assault of a police officer at King's Lynn's Festival Too earlier this year.

Kelsey Drew, 18, of Highgate, was charged in August with resisting arrest, assaulting an emergency worker and criminal damage.

It happened at around 8:30pm on Saturday July 8 at the junction of Norfolk Street and High Street, just outside the festival area.

Multiple officers were called to a fight, with one being punched seven times and kicked twice by Drew.

She admitted guilt at King's Lynn Magistrates' Court during a hearing yesterday.

She's been handed a £183 fine, which she will have to pay alongside compensation and court fees.
