A footballer who directly moved from Norwich to Ipswich says Sunday's derby will have a bit of 'added spice'.

Andy Marshall featured for the two teams between 1994 and 2004. He started off his career at Norwich City and moved to Ipswich Town on a free transfer.

24 years after his transfer from Norfolk to Suffolk, the move was repeated by Chilean midfielder, Marcelino Nunez.

He made the move to Town for an initial £7.5 million, after chalking up 11 goals and nine assists for Norwich in the championship over three years.

One of his most important goals for the club came in the East Anglian Derby, last year at Carrow Road. A first-half free kick, which won the game.

It means it's been over 16 years since Ipswich Town beat Norwich City. The Tractor Boys last won this game on 19 April 2009.

"They made a special effort to make my afternoon as difficult as possible"

Andy Marshall told us more about what it's like to play in this game:

"I knew that I was going to get a lot of stick when I first played for Ipswich against Norwich and I knew the move was controversial.

"As I was coming out to warm up there were thousands of Norwich fans there and they made a special effort to make my afternoon as difficult as possible.

He told us what he made about the two sides, going into this one:

"Ipswich are starting to really, really take control of games now. They look a danger going forwards and I have no doubts that they will be up their fighting for promotion by the end of the season.

"Norwich also look really threatening going forwards, but for me it's just a question of whether they can keep it tight at the back or not".

How are both of these sides doing coming into this?

Ipswich have 10 points to their name this season, after seven games. They've beaten Sheffield United and Portsmouth at Portman Road, so far. Meanwhile, they've only lost one game.

Norwich City have struggled for form so far this season, especially at Carrow Road, with most of their wins coming away from home under their new Head-Coach, Liam Manning.
