Police have seized sound equipment after an illegal rave at a disused abattoir in Banham.

Officers were called in the early hours of Sunday to the site of The Moor. Fire crews were also in attendance.

No arrests have been made but equipment has been confiscated and the site is now being assessed for any criminal damage.

Norfolk Police Inspector Di Woodage said: "Members of the public are encouraged to remain vigilant for suspicious activity and in rural or secluded areas and report activity to the police on 101 or 999 in an emergency."
