Investigations are continuing to identify the person or persons behind a bomb hoax at a Norfolk school.

Officers were called to King Edward VII Academy in King’s Lynn this morning (Tuesday 27 June) following a report of a suspected bomb threat sent via email.

As a precaution the school was evacuated.

Police have left the scene and there is no credible information at this time to say that this was anything other than a hoax.

Norfolk Police would like to speak to anyone with any information relating to the threat or believes they may know who was involved.

Witnesses are asked to contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101, quoting CAD 98 of 27 June 2023 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
