The King and Queen are due to visit Sandringham Flower Show today.

Charles and Camilla are expected to attend as the show celebrates its 140th year.

They will spend time touring marquees and exhibits and meeting those involved with the show.

The event takes place every year in Sandringham Park with Sandringham House and the Church of St Mary Magdalene as a backdrop.

The one-day show attracts around 20,000 visitors each year.

What's on at the show?

Many of East Anglia's leading nurseries and horticultural specialists exhibit at the show, which also features display gardens by leading designers, around 200 trade stands, a number of charity stands, a craft marquee, main arena events, children's entertainment and a police band.

The Royal marquees host competitions in vegetables, fruit, flowers and floral art, with the entries grown by local residents.

The profits from each show are donated to local charities. To date the event's committee has given around £825,000 to good causes.
