Essential work will now start today (12 April) to carry out road resurfacing of Clockcase Road, Clenchwarton from the junction with Ferry Road through to the junction with Bailey Lane.

Work will take 2 days to complete subject to suitable weather conditions.

This scheme was previously advertised to start in February but was unfortunately postponed due to wintry weather

To minimise disruption the work will be restricted to 7am-7pm.

To carry out the work safely it will be necessary to close Clockcase Road to all through traffic as well as Bailey Lane at this location during the work.

A fully signed diversion route will be in place while surfacing works are in progress.

Vehicle access to businesses and homes within the limits of the works will be maintained from one end of the closure at any time.

The County Council is thanking people for their patience while these works to replace the existing damaged road surface are carried out.

The work which will cost about £70,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
