Police are appealing for witnesses after a driver was assaulted by the side of the A47 between Dereham and Norwich.

It happened at around 7.15pm on 6th December, when the driver of a silver Toyota travelling along the A47 eastbound between Honingham and Easton pulled over to let an emergency vehicle pass.

The victim reported that the driver of a blue Land Rover immediately behind him flashed his lights several times so the victim got out, fearing there was an issue with his car.

Once out of the vehicle he was assaulted, suffering facial injuries and bruising to the chest.

The driver of the Land Rover is described as white, around 40 years old, approximately 6ft 4ins tall, of muscular build, and bald.
