Red kite shot in Swaffham

Police are investigating the death of bird of prey in Swaffham.

A red kite was found hanging from a tree in Swaffham Road, Cockley Cley on Friday 9th April.

An x-ray confirmed shot dust and it's believed to have happened between Thursday 8 April and Friday 9 April.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should contact PC Chris Shelley on 101 quoting crime reference 36/25060/21.
