Norfolk Constabulary have issued an appeal for information in connection with a serious multi-car crash in the village of Lenwade, near Norwich.

The crash, which took place last Friday, saw four cars collide on Fakenham Road near Nowhere Lane at 11:15 a.m.

In total, a red Polo, a green Volvo, a blue Nissan Almera and a white Peugeot Bipper van were involved in the crash at the time.

The driver of the Polo, a woman in her 50s, sustained serious injuries and currently remains in hospital.

Other drivers that were involved in the crash only suffered minor injuries that were not life-threatening.

Police are now asking for anyone with information about the incident to come forward as an investigation is carried out into the incident.

Anyone who may have seen the collision itself, or noticed how the red Polo was being driven between Lenwade and Norwich is being urged to get in touch with their local police force.
