Police appeal after collision in Hargate

Both the driver of the car and a passenger received serious injuries

Norfolk Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Hargate.

It happened at 11.40pm on Saturday (29 March) on the B1113 (The Turnpike) when a Grey VW Golf left the road near the junction with Bunwell Hill.

Police say both the driver of the car and a passenger received serious injuries.

The driver, a man in his 30s was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital where he currently remains. The passenger, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.

The road was closed while emergency services attended. It opened again at around 3.40am on Sunday (30 March).

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with them.
