Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash near Wisbech last week that left three people seriously injured.

A silver VW Golf was involved in a collision with a dark grey VW R32 Golf on the B1101 March Road, between Coldham and March, at around 3:45pm on December 8.

A woman in her 50s, who was driving the silver Golf, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The 49 year old driver of the R32 Golf suffered potentially life changing injuries, while a 30 year old passenger in the same car was seriously hurt.

All of the people involved are from the Wisbech area.

PC Joe Woolf, of Cambridgeshire Police said: “I am particularly keen to speak to the driver of a sports-type silver Audi who I believe witnessed the crash.

"I would also urge anyone else who saw what happened or believes they saw the vehicles in the build up to it, or has relevant dashcam footage, to get in touch.”
