Person calling Cambridgeshire Police to talk about brownies one of 21 hoax calls this month
Some calls were described as horrendously abusive.
If you call 999 to talk about brownies you will not be awarded star baker like the Great British Bake Off.
That is the message we're hearing from Cambridgeshire Police.
They have revealed they've received 21 hoax calls already this month.
Officers say the calls have ranged from bizzarre to horrendously abusive.
Unnecessary or malicious 999 calls take time away from actual emergencies and can put lives in danger.
