Pensioner dead after crashing into a tree in Diss
Police are urging witnesses to come forward.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash in Diss.
It happened on Wednesday 26th June 2024 at around 5.50pm on the A1066 Thetford Road, when a blue Subaru Levorg collided with a tree.
The road was closed whilst emergency services attended including ambulance.
The driver, a man in his 80's, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road reopened at 10.35pm.
Officers are now asking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, the manner of driving before the crash, or anyone who has relevant dashcam footage.
