Man crashes paraglider on Weybourne Beach
Emergency crews including an air ambulance responded after a man was injured during a paragliding incident on the north Norfolk coast
A man has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after being injured while paragliding on shingle beach at Weybourne on the North Norfolk coast in Norfolk.
The East of England Ambulance Service said it received a call just before 12.20pm on Thursday with reports that a man had been hurt while paragliding.
“Two ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle, a rapid response vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene,” a spokesman for the service said.
The man was airlifted to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
His condition has not been described as life-threatening.
