An actor soon be performing in Norfolk again is telling us Pantomimes are "ever changing"- and directors have to make sure they "keep up with the times"

"A lot of things have changed"
Richard Gauntlett is one of those performing in it:
"It's a very satirical piece of theatre and you have to keep modern day life or references in there. As people can relate to them and use them as a valuable part of the story.
"I have good very old scripts- from around 100 years ago. A lot of things have changed. There's a stuff that are in there that I can't say now. While there's also things that I can say now, but couldn't have said back then"
"Getting people back into the Theatre habit"
"I can certainly remember my first Panto- along with the curtains and the Orchestra. Hopefully this is getting people back into the Theatre habit as well. Panto is also a great chance to get all the family together- so I think it's important"
"I know that ticket sales for Panto is up by 30%, across the country. I think it's fair to say that Theatre is well and truly back after the Pandemic.
