Man in his 30s suffers life-changing injuries in Norwich assault
Two police officers were also injured during the incident.
A man in his 30s has been left with life-changing injuries following a serious assault in Norwich.
The incident occurred on Redwell Street at around 1.40am on Sunday 30th November. Officers on foot patrol witnessed three men attacking the victim.
Police intervened and arrested the group, but in doing so, two officers were injured and taken to hospital. They have since been discharged.
The victim remains in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.
Three men, all in their late teens, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and questioned at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre. They have now been released on bail until 23rd February 2026.
A scene seal was temporarily in place while police carried out enquiries, but this has now been lifted.
Police are urging anyone with information about the assault to get in touch.
