Norwich fan group chair: Keeping Josh Sargent is 'huge'
A win last weekend against Blackburn means that Norwich are two points off the play-off spaces, after four games
A Norwich City fan group chair tells us keeping a-hold of star striker Josh Sargent is 'huge' for the club's season.
Liam Manning's men sit 11th in the championship after their first four games of the season- following two wins and losses.
A win last weekend against Blackburn, (0-2), means that Norwich are two points off the play-off spaces, after four games.
The Canaries have also beaten Portsmouth away, (1-2) but are yet to win a game at home in all competitions.
Norwich lost on the opening game of the season against Millwall (1-2) and Middlesborough (1-2).
Over in the EFL Cup, they won against Watford, (1-2), but were convincingly beaten by Southampton at Carrow Road, 0-3.
"We haven't even seen the best of them yet"
Rob Sainty is from the 'Canaries Trust':
"Clearly there are still some issues that need to be resolved moving forwards and quickly.
"We are still too sloppy in possession and sometimes put ourselves under pressure, by giving the ball away.
"We also do tend to fade in the latter stages, but that is something that will come with stronger match-fitness over time.
"I've been really impressed with the players that have come in and we haven't even seen the best of them yet.

This summer transfer window has seen Norwich sign a range of players across the pitch, including forwards Mathias Kvistgaarden and Papa Amadou Diallo.
The Canaries have also signed two centre-backs, goalkeepers and defensive midfielders.
In addition to this the club has also added experience to their ranks, including 32-year-old Premier League winner, Jeffrey Schlupp.
More recently, midfielder Pelle Mattsson moved to the club.
Norwich have also lost high-profile players, Jonathan Rowe, Borja Sainz and Marcelino Núñez.
Rowe had been loaned out to Marseille at the start of last season and was sold in this window for over £12 million.
Sainz left Norwich for Porto. He was sold for £14.25 million.
Nunez controversially moved to Ipswich Town in a deal worth £10 million. It's heavily rumoured that the Chilean personally pushed for the move.
The future of the club's start striker, Josh Sargent, was unclear for a lot of the summer transfer window.
The US national was said to be on the verge of leave the club for Wolfsburg in Germany, but the deal there fell through.
