Norwich City make Championship play-offs and will face Leeds
Despite defeat away at Birmingham, David Wagner's side finished in the top 6
Norwich City have made it into the Championship play-offs despite defeat away at Birmingham City.
The victory was not enough for the hosts, who were relegated to League One for the first time in 29-years.
This result, and those elsewhere mean that the Canaries have finished 5th and will face Leeds next on Sunday, (May 12th) for the first leg, at Carrow Road.
The Canaries will make the trip up to Elland Road on Thursday May 16th in the second-leg.
The winner over two-legs will face either Southampton or West Brom at Wembley, for the final Premier League place.
"We are the underdogs and they are the favourites"
David Wagner spoke after the game about how tough the test will be against a Leeds side that had been fighting for automatic promotion on the final day.
They lost to Southampton which also meant that Ipswich were promoted to the Premier League irrelevant of their 2-0 win to Huddersfield.
Norwich's East Anglian Rivals secured their return to the top-flight after an absence of 22-years.
West Brom moved above Norwich into 5th, after a 3-0 win at home against Preston North End.
