Man charged with Norwich burglary

A man was seen on CCTV trying to enter a property through a window

A man's has been charged with burglary in Norwich.

It's after police received a report on 1st December, around 2.25pm, of a man seen on CCTV in the garden of an address on Beecheno Road trying to enter a property through a window.

They detained a man at the scene, who was found to be in possession of gold jewellery.

He was arrested and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Tommy Croll, aged 51 and of no fixed address was charged with burglary and theft on 2nd December.

He also appeared at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on 2 December and was remanded into custody by the court ahead of his next court appearance on 5 January 2023.
